What do we do when God asks us to do something that feels beyond our abilities? What do we do when we struggle to believe He’ll provide what we need? In the feeding of the 5,000, Jesus shows His compassion for needy people and His power to provide more than enough. Our limitations don’t limit Him! As we look at this miracle, we’ll learn that Jesus is both willing and able to provide everything we need!
Pride has a way of blinding us to the truth, poisoning our hearts, and stealing our joy. When we become too confident in our own understanding, we can miss what God is doing right in front of us. Jesus invites us to lay down our pride, embrace humility, and remain open to the ways He wants to work in and through us. Where might pride be keeping you from experiencing the life Jesus has for you?
Jesus uses simple, powerful pictures to show us what the Kingdom of God is like: small beginnings, patient growth, hidden treasure, and immeasurable worth. Even when the world feels bleak or God’s work seems slow, His Kingdom is growing and transforming lives. The question is whether we will patiently trust His work, joyfully pursue Jesus, and treasure Him above everything else. Join us as we discover the joy and surpassing worth of the Kingdom of God!
Reading the Bible isn’t about checking a box, earning God’s favor, or becoming more disciplined for discipline’s sake. It’s an invitation to know, experience, and enjoy God through His Word. This week, we’ll talk honestly about what gets in the way and how grace can reshape the way we approach Scripture. Let’s discover what it looks like to grow deeper with God through His Word!
God’s Word is clear, necessary, and sufficient for our lives. But what happens when we struggle to trust those truths? This week, we will explore how a healthy confidence in Scripture shapes the way we read, understand, obey, and share God’s Word.
How can we know that the Bible is really trustworthy? This week, we’ll explore why we can have assurance in the faithfulness of God’s Word, even when our culture challenges its reliability or we encounter difficult questions ourselves. As we consider the evidence for Scripture and its power to transform lives, we can have confidence as we learn to trust God’s Word and allow it to shape our daily lives.
We all long to be transformed, but real change takes more than good intentions—it takes training. In 2 Timothy 3:16–17, Paul shows us how God’s Word teaches, corrects, and trains us so that we can become more like Jesus and be equipped for the good works God has prepared for us. What if Scripture isn’t meant to simply inform us, but to actually remake us? Let's pray for hearts that are willing to submit, learn, grow, and let God’s Word transform us!
In the Parable of the Weeds and the Wheat, Jesus reminds us that evil is real, but it doesn’t have the final word. We may long for God to remove everything wrong in the world, but Jesus calls us to trust His wisdom, timing, and ultimate plan. As we wait, we’re invited to pursue justice, resist evil, and remain faithful without trying to create our own version of a perfect world. The Farmer is still at work—and He's coming back soon to make all things right!
What does it look like to have a heart that is truly receptive to God? In Matthew 13, Jesus uses the Parable of the Sower to help us think about how we receive and respond to His Word. As we reflect on this passage, we’ll consider what might be keeping us from growing and how God wants to cultivate lives that bear good fruit.
Following Jesus isn’t about simply cleaning up our lives or trying harder to become better people. True transformation happens when we surrender every area of our lives to the Kingship of Jesus. In this message, we’ll explore the danger of changing our behavior without changing our hearts—and what it really means to belong to Jesus and His family.
