Jesus' triumphal entry was a statement to the world of the coming King. When Christ came as our King, He did so in a way that was unexpected by the religious leaders of the time. Their example is a lesson for us today in how we should interact with our King.

Are we to be people who make plans? In James it shows the believer how we are to not go off of personal preference or worldly wisdom but acknowledge God in our plans. We have a great responsibility to always lean into obedience and walk with the Lord’s voice leading our path.

As God's people, we must engage with the world around us. We have the answer and antidote to what ails humanity, and our call is to share that truth with the people in our lives. It all starts with asking God to use us to do exactly that.

Tonight's study of James looks at how humility and pride affects the believer's life.  We should live with a high sense of personal accountability, and we must proactively resist the enemy in these areas of our lives. 

As we dive deeper into James, we see that our place is not to judge others. Loving others the way Jesus asks us to is our responsibility versus serving judgement.
