Life comes with a pressure to excel, grow, attain, and more. Yet in the life of believer we need to view pressure differently. When we walk with God and are empowered by His Spirit we can endure the pressure, see it as a gift, and embrace our God given purpose. Here's how!

Confidence can come from multiple places, but in the life of a believer, we find our confidence from somewhere else. As we look at an account in the book of Acts, we find the disciples operating this confidence. It wasn't because of their own strength, but rather it was through the power of the Holy Spirit.

When the lame man called out to Peter and John for money, he didn't realize that his life was about to be changed. This miraculous healing story reveals what happens when we operate in the power of the Spirit and in obedience to Christ.

In one passage in the Old Testament, God is given a name that isn't found anywhere else in the Bible. When it feels like everything is going wrong in our lives and we question what God is doing, it's this name that reminds us of who He is. Where did the name originate? From Abraham's other wife, Hagar.

In 2 Samuel, King David is at the end of his life when he writes down his last words in a song. He ends his life as a worshipper and a pursuer of God. The lesson of David's life teaches us how worship should mark our own lives, and our dedication to Christ.
