Cornerstone President Dr. Gerson Moreno-Riaño spoke to students this morning about the demands of friendship, with Christ as our example of what it truly means to be friends with one another.

Darrell Yoder, professor of ministry at Cornerstone, spoke to students about the story of the Prodigal Son, challenging them to think deeply about what it means to be loved by God.

Cornerstone students had a unique opportunity to hear from Dr. Tracy Terrill and others from Shepherds College, a college for students with intellectual disabilities. With the team from Shepherds was three students who gave testimonies on how the school has impacted their life and faith walk.

Student Kelsey Roth, a junior at Cornerstone, spoke to students from Matthew 7:21-23.

Dr. Julián Guzmán gave a message to students from Ephesians 2:10, teaching what it means to be God's 'workmanship' and encouraging students to go and do good works they were created for.

Pastor Craig Perry, teaching pastor at Forest Hills Baptist Church, spoke to students from Philippians 2:1-4, encouraging them to grow into humble members of the local church unified by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Cheryl Steele Tinsley, Cornerstone alumni, spoke to students, telling her incredible survival story and encouraging them to seek God and understand that He has a purpose for the storms of life.

Dr. Michael Wittmer, professor of systematic and historical theology at Cornerstone Theological Seminary, to consider their relationships with Jesus Christ and to be faithfully attending local churches.

Cornerstone kicked off Mental Health Awareness Week with a message called Resilience from Pastor Nate Wagner, the director of Cornerstone's health and counseling services.
