In this sermon, we're wrapping up our series on the essential building blocks of our faith. We've journeyed through key elements like the glory of God, the role of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit. But today, we are zeroing in on something incredibly important: the call to proclaim the Gospel—the good news of Jesus Christ.
Have you ever felt hesitant to share your faith? Maybe you're unsure about what to say, worried you might not have all the answers, or fearful of being too pushy. You're not alone in these feelings. In fact, we all have our moments of doubt, fear, and uncertainty. But today, we'll explore what the Gospel truly is, its life-changing power, and how we can step out in faith to share it with others—just like the early disciples did.
Drawing from the profound words of Scripture, we'll dissect the essence of the Gospel as Paul outlines it in 1 Corinthians 15, focusing on Jesus' death and resurrection. We'll also look at Peter's bold proclamation in Acts 2, which calls all of Israel to recognize Jesus as both Lord and Messiah.
Join us as we navigate through reasons why sharing our faith can feel daunting and how we can overcome those barriers, all while leaning on the Holy Spirit for courage and strength. By the end of this sermon, our hope is that you'll feel empowered to share your own testimony of hope with those around you, offering them the beautiful message of salvation that has transformed your life.
