Did you know you’re more likely to die of a lightning strike that you are of Coronavirus?  That’s right!  In Texas, 1 in 1000 people have been infected with the virus with less than 1% of those resulting in death, making the odds of death 1 in 50,000.  According to National Geographic, you have a 1 in 3000 chance of dying from a lightning strike. 

The mainstream media has caused mass hysteria and provoked fear into our lives. According to the latest data, the majority of people with Covid-19 have mild symptoms with almost 25% of cases being asymptomatic.  Also, many people are testing positive for the antibodies, which means they have had the virus and recovered from it, which brings the fatality rate down to 0.12%. 

You can’t avoid exposure to germs!  They are everywhere. It is part of the circle of life. We can’t live in fear of man or germs.  God did not create us to live in fear.  In fact, he says in 1 Timothy that we are not given a spirit of fear, but of power and love and sound mind.  It is our responsibility to promote things that provide good health and trust God to protect us. Proverbs 14:26 tells us to live by faith, not fear!  The government will not make us safe and secure from disease and death and quarantining is only prolonging the effect of Coronavirus on our nation.

No one should be a prisoner of someone else’s fear.  If you’re scared – stay home.  Otherwise, stand up and take action! The best way to fight is to take charge of your health and strengthen your immune system.  It’s time for us to get back to work, back to school and back to church!
