Coronavirus to Open or Not Open

Were open then closing just to open again, New variants are making it difficult to stay open and perhaps modifications of opening with restrictions. But due to the variants and perhaps opening too early has allowed variants to further finds its way into the populations in combination of vaccinations not occurring fast enough,

Some states are lifting covid-19 restrictions for political reasons not for public health reasons. There covid19 numbers are increasing and it will only lead to more cases and deaths needlessly. Common sense use to dictate, but the political climate seems to take a greater precedent than life itself.

We have lost a lot due to the Pandemic if we were open or close, or perhaps if we should open or close is the question. Tinkering on the verge of collapse mentally, physically, educationally, socially has been the result of poor identification of the virus as well as the execution of addressing consistently and nationally in the United States. Social distancing, masks and now a vaccine are our best weapons. The manufacturing and distribution is the next new feat that we must attack and accomplish. We must get it right and quickly as we reach over 400,000 deaths in the United States as of January 18,2021.

The unpredictable to open or close has fundamental difference due to politics not following medicine. The Centers for Disease Control has been so politicized that there are conflicting messages and approaches. We are really paying the price in human suffering and deaths. Follow the Science!

Once again the increased spread of Covid-19 has caused Britain and other European countries to close and shutdown a second time.

Coronavirus has devastated the economy and now is the question is to when to reopen the economy. Are we ready with not enough testing, how many lives will be lost and additional infections will occur for the sake of the economy. A strong economy can only be strong with a healthy workforce.
