Marriage gives us a beautiful opportunity to demonstrate that kind of committed love. The challenge for today is simple: Choose to love when it is easy—and choose to love when it is difficult. Don't base your commitment on today's circumstances or today's emotions. Remember the love God demonstrated toward us through Jesus Christ. Because the strongest love does not say, "I love you because of what you do for me."
