BA Insight CTO Jeff Fried is back and well recovered from his Atlanta adventures at Microsoft Ignite 2016. This week on Shared Insights, Jeff brings us his report from the conference and a review of the things that will matter most for those who use and administer Microsoft business tools.

The big themes of the event were built on four pillars: Security, Intelligence (especially machine learning), Collaboration, and Cloud. New features in SharePoint aim to leverage new tools on each pillar, from modern Teamsites, the SharePoint Framework, and new Microsoft Graph capabilities to boot. Microsoft highlighted a deep new strategic partnership with Adobe and their Creative and Marketing Cloud products which looks to be a promising long-term relationship a rich source of new business intelligence.
