Investigadores de Google y iVerify revelaron que Coruna, un kit de explotación extremadamente sofisticado para iPhone, fue usado primero en contextos de vigilancia avanzada y luego apareció en campañas de espionaje y cibercrimen. El toolkit afecta iPhones con versiones antiguas de iOS, puede comprometer equipos mediante sitios web maliciosos y reabre una discusión clave: cómo herramientas de nivel estatal pueden filtrarse y terminar siendo utilizadas por criminales comunes.
