Cosmic Cousins

Happy Capricorn Solstice to you!  For those on the Northern Hemisphere, this is the shortest day of the year – a sacred invitation within.  For those on the Southern Hemisphere, this is the longest day of the year – a time of great illumination.  Either way, wherever you find yourself in the world, the Sun is conjunct the Galactic Center – the center of our Milky Way galaxy.  This is a potent time of the year to realign with your cosmic self, offering you wisdom for new beginnings.In honor of this special time of the year, Lindsay Mack and I gathered together at their home to record a special Year Ahead podcast episode for 2024.  In this podcast episode we reflect on this past year, 2023, as a 7 year – connected to both the Chariot (7) and the Tower (16 = 1 + 6 = 7); and anticipate the invitation of this new year, 2024, as an 8 year – connected to both Strength (8) and the Star (17 = 1 + 7 = 8). We then offer intuitive insight for the coming year, pulling 2 cards for the Collective, and 2 cards for each element: Fire signs, Earth signs, Air signs, and Water signs.  The decks we use are: Tarot of the Holy Spectrum and the Cosmic Cousins Astro Oracle.

Hey New York City! I am coming to you.  Send me off to India and join me on December 27 in-person for a transformative Cancer Full Moon gathering at the beloved Maha Rose Brooklyn.

Tonight, December 12, I am leading an Astrocartography Workshop.  If you are unable to attend the Live Call, you can still purchase the recording of the workshop from now until the Capricorn New Moon (January 11, 2024)

I will be traveling to India in the new year for 3 months.  I will be immersing myself in the study of Ayurveda, and likely also learning a lot about Vedic Astrology in the process.  During this time, I plan to still release podcast episodes, although they may be released in a new rhythm.  I will keep you up-to-date as the process unfolds.

 While I am in India, I will still be working with clients and students one-on-one over Zoom. This past week my dear friend and somatic embodiment teacher Adriana Rizzolo visited me in Hawai'i (where I have been visiting the last 3 months).  We stayed busy recording a new 13-part Workshop Series on Black Moon Lilith – Unleash the Queer Witch in your Chart.  It will be released on the first full day of Aquarius season in 2024 in honor of Pluto entering Aquarius.  We will be releasing more information early next month on how to pre-enroll. Cosmic Cousins, I have returned to the breathtaking Big Island of Hawai’i, the birthplace of the Cosmic Cousins podcast and the starting point of my astrology career to celebrate 6 years! Just 10 minutes upon my arrival, the powerful and awe-inspiring volcano, Pele, the majestic Kilauea, erupted! This week I was gifted the opportunity to witness the lava bursting from the volcano's Halemaumau crater. Gurgling fountains spewed lava high into air. The raw energy and intensity of the eruption was truly remarkable. The volcano has such immense transformative energy that permeates this sacred land. As I celebrate 6 years of Cosmic Cousins, I find it deeply meaningful that this eruption coincides with this milestone. It serves as a reminder of the incredible lessons, creations, and experiences that have shaped our journey together. Throughout this time, we have learned the importance of community, the power of connection, and the healing energy of nature. The Big Island has been a catalyst for my growth and healing, allowing me to tap into the wisdom of the cosmos and share it with you. It has been a place of inspiration, where the volcanic energy mirrors the creation, passion, and devotion within. I am grateful for the opportunity to be back on this sacred land and reconnecting with both the community and the island that have supported me on this cosmic adventure. As we move forward, I am excited to continue exploring astrology, deepening our connection with the cosmos, and fostering an even stronger sense of community. Thank you, Cosmic Cousins, for joining me on this incredible journey. Particular to this lunation, this is the first Full Moon in the sign of Pisces since Saturn entered Pisces back in March of this year.  This Full Moon offers an opportunity to reflect on what Saturn in Pisces is here to teach us.  Whatever placements you have in Pisces are moving through an initiation of maturation, responsibility and slow-growth (from now until February of 2026).  For those moving through their Saturn Return in Pisces, pay particular attention to the messages and occurrences that happen on and around this Full Moon.   What are the bigger spiritual themes unfolding in your life?  How might your more deeply commit to your magical, spiritual and creative gifts?
