Cosmic Crossroads

Life bursts forth! Budding flowers open. Without warning there is now movement and action. This is the intuitive spark of creation. Feels like chugging a coffee as the sun hits your skin on a warm spring day. Go fast or get out of the way! Act now and think later. Honk your horn if you want to. Don’t second guess yourself because you as an individual absolutely matter. Before you know another, you must know yourself. Feel your vitality pulsating through your body. Do something with it: climb a tree, pump some iron, start a sword fight. Anything to effectively circulate the blood. If your face turns red, that’s even better. Consider it an homage to the ruling planet, Mars. Stand up for what you believe in, a little healthy conflict never hurt anyone. How will you ever know your strength if you don’t test your courage? A true warrior would never back down from the chance to become a hero. 🔥 DUNE II SPOILER ALERT 🔥 1:01:22 - 1:10:01

We have traversed all the archetypes of the zodiac and found ourselves in Pisces season. There’s A fine line between hope and delusion, fear and imagination. Are we talking to god or are we losing our minds?  Have we merged with all that is and become enlightened or are we lost at sea; dissociated? Swallowed up by the Ocean we can surrender to the experience that we are all one; feeling and floating our way to truth. This is a skill that takes refinement as we can easily become fearful and drown in our dreams. Deciphering symbols inaccurately. Faith gives it all meaning. Say your prayers; the gods are listening.  Support Carissa and Grant's newest addition to the ♑️ clan: https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/od5wol

The doldrums of winter begin to set in and this fixed air sign has come up with some interesting ideas after thoroughly exploring the systems of Capricorn. After all, you need to know the rules in order to know how to break them. Perhaps it’s been awhile since we’ve left our house, coldness keeping us inside, and in our isolation, undisturbed by the opinions of the masses, we have found a lightening strike of inspiration. A new vision has been gifted, suddenly, all at once. No you’re not going crazy. Ironically, the masses don’t understand that this new way of thinking is for the good of all of humanity. This is how evolutionary leaps are made; how consciousness expands. Aquarius may be cast out for their kookiness but only because they are ahead of their time and not confined by conventional concepts or the perceptions of other people. We expanded our perspective with Sagittarius, zooming way out with our lofty ideas and grand visions — now with Capricorn we approach life with a new found practicality. How do we ground in these ideas and condense them into form? What does it mean to operate within the confines of time and space? Capricorn initiates us into the season of winter. The days slowly get longer from here but still a pragmatism permeates. There is no room for frivolousness. In the Northern Hemisphere the sun is hard to come by and Vitamin D is low. This sign teaches us perseverance and how to move through circumstances step by step. No mountain peak is too high and no ocean is too wide. After your season of traversing the depths of Scorpio, what treasures did you find? Stories of darkness and the lessons we gleaned are best told around the light of the fire, burning hot and bright, connecting us to each other and those all around the world through the beauty of the flame. We are not only ourselves, we are bigger than the ancestral imprint of our families, we expand past the narratives we weave with our neighbors through our everyday chit chat while running errands. We find ourselves inspired by traditions steeped in culture, by myths and philosophies that offer greater meaning, by higher truths that give us the faith to keep going. Perhaps while following the arrow of truth we find ourselves jet-setting, heart aflame with wanderlust. With the luck of Jupiter on our side we may end up in a temple in a foreign country bowed before the goddess. Or possibly sitting in a ceremony, lead by an elder carrying the traditional wisdom of a place. Sag energy is the essence of “do it for the plot”. With an optimistic, carefree outlook anything is possible.

The scales of Libra tip to the darkness of Scorpio season. External movement slows down as the coolness of the season slips in. The light of the candle replaces the light of the sun. With less distractions we must come face to face with what is happening within us; what parts of us have served us well throughout the year and what parts need to fade away with the waning daylight. Death looms. Not as an an evil thing outside of ourselves that is meant to be feared but as an absolutely natural part of life that is necessary for transformation and evolution. The trees must lose their leaves in order to decompose into the soil and feed the unseen biome that lurks in the dark soil. The modern rational western mind calls it spooky and scary. Sitting with the emotions that bubble up from the darkness has become a foreign concept when you can reach for the blue light of the black mirror. Denying this part of ourselves has dire consequences as our shadows will make themselves known one way or another. Acknowledge and integrate or deny and project.
