Hello, it’s me, with news about Adele—finally! As you may know, back in April, Adele’s reps announced she and her now-ex-husband, Simon Konecki, had divorced after eight years together. At the time, her rep said they were both committed to raising their son together and wouldn’t make any more comments on the matter. And Adele, who tends to stay out of the spotlight, has done exactly that, leaving fans to wonder if and when she’ll return to music.

Well, good news. On Wednesday, ‘People’s’ sources shed some light on Adele’s current situation. Apparently, the pop diva is feeling “perky as hell,” and is “definitely getting ready both mentally and physically to promote new music.” Permission to freak the eff out, granted!

The source added that her new album may drop “later this year,” which means you have approximately 3 months to stock up on tissues. Per the source, “[Adele] talks about last year as a very difficult year, and she’s said in the past that creating new music is almost like therapy. You can tell that she is ready to share with her fans.” Well, I think I speak for all Adele fans when I say, we are so freakin’ ready too!!! 31, where you at?!
