  • The Premiere Series: CMMP003 // Nandu - Lightning feat. Markus Nyberg (Original Mix) // OUT NOW
It's been quite a while since our last premiere, but we have been cooking something that is worth the wait. On our 3rd premiere, we bring you Lightning by @NanduOfficial, featuring vocals by Markus Nyberg.
We move in Constant Circles; music, art, fashion & life. The most perfect shape in existence, a mathematical certainty, with no beginning and no end. This is our journey. This is our sound.
Following on from his incredible artist album, Nandu makes a welcome return to Constant Circles with three mesmerizing cuts of deep, percussive and beautiful house music.
On remix duties are label newcomers Modular Project, fresh off the back of releases on Perpetualis and OFF, they have reworked the lead track 'Lightning' into a stripped down melodic trip, with a dance floor edge.
And so continues the story of a label built on the foundations of an unquenchable thirst for the underground and a yearning for the sounds of the future, the past and all that emerges in between. Unceasing. Limitless. A constant circle.

  • Cottonmouth - Blogcast 042 - Thommie G
On the 42nd edition of our blogcast we proudly present the talented Thommie G.
We have crossed a long path on this show and with this guy here, we go back to basics. We discovered this precious talent through his edit of Cymande's 'Dove'. A brilliant slow-mo edit of the 1972 hit in an electronic interpretation and keeping the touch of the calypso rhythms. Recently, he added his own unique edit of Suzanne Vega's 'Tom's Diner'. His edits leave you with the feel of authenticity but keeps you in a melodic vibe and dreamy mood. This mix features an unreleased track that goes by the name 'Dancing With Wolves'. A big future awaiting this Dutch talent, this has been created with a lot of love; starting slow, deep and intense, it evolves into a pleasant and steady journey through sounds.
    Who is Thomas Gaarthuis ?
Thomas Gaarthuis aka 'Thommie G', was caught by the enchantment of music since the very beginning. Working as a graphic designer for 16 years, it felt natural to step into the world of sound design in summer 2015. Having a big affinity with deep and tribal music, he combines organic sounds and rhythms to his productions, carrying the listener to places beyond their audio system.
Although not married to a specific genre, his style touches elements of slow, deep, tech and tribal. He produces different sounds for different occasions, mostly by himself, sometimes joining forces with other musicians.
And with success: his first solo EP, titled Athinouk, was released on TropicalTwistaRecords in May 2016. More releases are coming out on Phat Elephant Recordings and Whirling Wolf by the end of this year.
Besides that, 2015 saw the birth of Dancing under the stars (Dansen onder de Sterren), Thomas' own club night in his hometown of Haarlem.
His music is played by a number of DJ's, such as Oceanvs Orientalis, the notorious Voodoohop collective from Brazil, Urban Cosmonaut Radio collective and more.
