  • Episode 12: Your Nervous System Is Speaking

In this Mental Health Awareness Month episode, I’m joined by special guest Keshia Ginn, LCSW, for a grounded and eye-opening conversation on mental health, nervous system regulation, and the importance of true rest. Keshia shares important mental health awareness statistics and speaks to the unique challenges and disparities faced within Black and Brown and other marginalized communities when it comes to access, support, and healing.

We also explore what it really means to regulate the nervous system in everyday life and why rest is not a luxury, but a necessary part of healing and sustainability. Keshia introduces her By Design Calm Collection, a set of therapist-centered tools created to support nervous system regulation and help people return to a felt sense of safety and calm.

This episode is an invitation to slow down, become more aware of what your mind and body are carrying, and explore practical, compassionate tools for regulation and restoration.

  • Episode 10: The Full Body Yes: Trusting the Path of Becoming

In this episode, I sit down with Kirtika Walia, a somatic dance facilitator and coach, for a deeply honest conversation about transformation, embodiment, and what it means to truly come home to yourself.

Kirtika shares her journey from identifying as deeply introverted to slowly, and then boldly, embracing her inner fire and presence following the unexpected transition of her former husband. Together, we explore how life’s most disruptive moments can become gateways into deeper authenticity, courage, and self-expression.

We also speak about the evolving nature of relationships as we grow into new versions of ourselves, and how to navigate connection when identity is no longer static. At the heart of our conversation is the wisdom of the “full body yes” that intuitive, somatic knowing that guides us toward aligned paths, even when they don’t always make logical sense.

This episode is an invitation to listen inward, trust your body, and honor the evolution that is asking to unfold within you.

  • Episode 9: Staying With Yourself: Releasing Perfectionism & People-Pleasing

In this episode, we explore the quiet but powerful patterns of perfectionism and people-pleasing, and what it truly looks like to begin releasing them.

Rebecca McNeill, a self-described “non-couch coach,” creates spaces where women can be radically honest with themselves especially in the moments that feel overwhelming, messy, or difficult to hold. Her work is deeply rooted in her own lived experience of unraveling people-pleasing, perfectionism, and the deeper layers of self-abandonment beneath them.

Rather than offering strategies to “fix” these patterns, Rebecca invites a different approach, one centered on staying. Staying with discomfort. Staying connected to the body. Staying present with what is, instead of rushing to change it.

Through the lens of her journey as an artist, she shares what it means to continue creating even in the face of insecurity and self-doubt. To show up. To be seen. To allow the process to be imperfect and still worthy.

    In this conversation, we explore:

    • The roots of perfectionism and people-pleasing
    • How self-abandonment shows up in everyday life
    • Building the capacity to be with yourself in discomfort
    • Reconnecting with the body as a place of truth and guidance
    • Approaching life with an artist’s perspective—beyond right and wrong

Rebecca’s presence is grounded, relational, and deeply human. She meets people not as problems to solve, but as whole beings capable of creating something new from exactly where they are.

This episode is an invitation to soften, to get honest, and to begin meeting yourself with a deeper sense of trust, presence, and self-devotion.

  • Episode 5: Sanctuary in the Fire with Chelsea Brown

In this deeply moving episode, I sit down for a conversation that weaves together the tender threads of becoming a life coach, building a marriage as a queer couple with a trans partner, and parenting through one of the most heartbreaking experiences a family can face—a child’s leukemia diagnosis.

This is a story of resilience.
Of choosing love again and again.
Of navigating trauma, illness, identity, and hope—without a roadmap.

    We talk about:

  • How the path to life coaching began with personal unraveling and redefinition

  • What it means to build a trans-affirming, spiritually grounded marriage

  • How our family endured the long nights and quiet faith of caring for a child with cancer

  • The power of healing work—for ourselves, and others

  • And how grace found us not in perfection, but in presence.

  • Whether you're navigating your own transformation, parenting through the unknown, or simply longing for a story that makes room for complexity and joy, this episode offers a space to breathe and believe again.
