In the last few weeks, Maui has seen a lot of change in his life. In this episode, he talks about how some of those changes reminded him of what he loves and he talks about how he plans to get back on "track". Have you ever done Dungeons & Dragons with your friends? Well if you haven't there's an alignment chart that people look at when creating their characters. So for this episode, the boys decided to use that alignment chart to see which characters from the MCU, DCU, and Anime fit into some of the boxes within this chart.
In this week's episode, the boys get into the nuances of relationships and what makes them successful. They also talk about why people are afraid of labels and why labels can be good.
In recent years Marvel has been pumping out a ton of movies, whether they be Avengers or stand-alone movies. The boys break down their favorite movies from the MCU and talk about why some of them weren't as great. They also point out what separates the MCU from the DCU and which movies/heros they're looking forward to seeing as the MCU continues to grow!
With Father's Day around the corner, the boys take some time to reflect on their relationship with their dads. Maui dives into what it was like having his Dad coach him in soccer growing up and talks about how impactful it was to his development. To all those who may have never known their father or no longer have them around, we are thinking of you! Though there might be specific days to celebrate fathers & mothers, it is always good to show your appreciation for them daily.
In this week's episode, the boys reflect on their experiences with the US school system. We go over some of our favorite projects, classes, and teachers. We also get into why the system isn't the best and what needs to be fixed moving forward.
A lot has changed in the last few decades but for some reason, it seems like there's a huge difference between the 90s and the 2000s. A lot of it has to do with the incredible growth in technology. At the same time, things like music, movies, and shows don't seem to be as iconic as they once were.
