Little Crumbs

could listening to redfoo ruin your friendship?

Listen Later

In the inaugural episode, Met and Tilly welcome you to the Crumbunity! They talk about the trials and tribulations of Melbourne lockdown, their ‘Shameless Plugs’, and when Tilly found Met passed out in a bush at uni before embarking on their first topic: Music & Teenagers.

As Tilly paid a bit more attention during this class, she takes us through some stuff she found fascinating about how teenagers use music as a badge of identity, social currency in the beginning and deepening of friendships, and to form their sense of selves in this time. They talk about how your music taste is crystallised in your teenage years for the rest of your life: so be careful if all you’re listening to is Redfoo!!! We back up our research with some neat Instagram-story data and some texts with Tilly’s grandpa.
