If you can't see it, why believe it right like? If you can't see yourself being a doctor because you don't see anyone that looks like you as a doctor, then why believe it, right? Or if you can't see anybody in politics that looks Asian, black, Latina, or anything other than " white," then why believe that you can do it. I'm trying to make the point of REPRESENTATION matters; it matters not only in the classroom with teachers but also in the Board Room, meeting room, or on the field or the court. The representation of different races, cultures, sizes, and thoughts matters everywhere, and it's in those small spaces where you think people of minorities aren't there, are there and they will be there, and they will stay there because they may not be seen by many, but they're still seen.
