Today we looked at John 13 and explored, with Matt, how Jesus reveals himself here in this passage as the God from Leviticus, who has always and will always be the God who offers us grace, the God who makes us clean, the God who loves us and makes a way for us to come to Him.

The message highlights the importance of seeing Jesus for who He truly is and allowing His presence to transform our lives.

Today Lara shared with us from John 11 looking at the story of Mary, whose brother Lazarus had just died. We saw the impact that coming to the feet of Jesus had on the life of Mary in 3 different places. Lara asked us how we can deal with trials and trouble, the answer that we see from the life of Mary is to get to know Jesus intimately, to come again and again to the feet of Jesus, an encounter that will changes us and mark us forever.

Today we walked through Luke 10 and discovered the encouragement of Jesus not to lose focus, not to lose hope, not to allow other things in life to crowd in and pull us off course or distract us from the things that really matter.

This week Matt took us through Mark 9 where we get a glimpse of Jesus in His heavenly glory and then see Him set a young boy free. What we discovered was that Jesus is the God of a kingdom that brings change, that brings light in the darkness, freedom for the captives and hope for the hopeless, even in the places that the world says there is no hope.

Today Matt took us through the feeding of the 4000 from Mark 8. As we read we discovered that the author, Mark, is showing us more than a miraculous story, and more than a life lesson. The account in Mark 8 actually reveals to us something amazing about who Jesus is, and what He came to do.

Today Nathan Logan took us through Jesus' parables in Mark 4, simple stories about soil that teach us something about how God wants to be at work in our hearts, planting the kingdom in our lives, producing fruit that changes us and the world.

This week Matt took us through the first block of Jesus' teaching, known as the sermon on the mount. There we saw that Jesus wasn't just giving us a standard to live up to, but words that reveal the brokenness of our hearts and world into which Jesus offers a radically different answer to this - Himself.

Today Matt took us through John 2-5 pointing out a pattern that John uses through the stories he tells of the life of Jesus to show us that in Jesus there is new life for all, and a new place in which we can meet with God, no matter who we are or where we are.
