This week Ryan and Jordan discuss the legend, Hank Williams Sr. Although his life was cut short at the age of 29, he influenced country music in a way that other legends can’t come close to. His list of written songs is extremely long for his short life span. Hank overcame so many obstacles to solidify his legend status. Ryan and Jordan take a stroll down Cody Jinks Lane this week. From his heavy metal beginning to his outlaw country present, Jinks has amassed one of the largest fanbases in the industry. This independent (by choice) artist is pulling off feats that only a handful of artists could muster.

Another Texas based artist with his own type of flare, Jinks uses his clever/ dark writing styles to pull out all of the emotions. We hope you enjoy getting to know Cody as much as we did.

This week Ryan and Jordan unpack the life and career of a Legend. From deep in the Eastern Kentucky mountains, Whitley exploded onto the scene packing his one of a kind gorgeous voice. Keith was one of the only dudes with a perm that could make it to legend status.

34 years wasn’t enough, but that’s all we got. Alcoholism took his life WAY too early! Still to this day, we hear the music that he graced our ears with. This haunted man showed you just how sad and devoted he was in every verse he wrote and sang. With wife, Lorrie Morgan, he found a love that he feared losing.

Keith Whitley is the artist that other artists look up to. There will never be another quite like him. Taken far too soon but just late enough for him to solidify his place at the top of the industry.

This week we travel to Baskin, Louisiana to find the next “it” female country star, Lainey Wilson. Although each didn’t discus the obstacles that women in country music have to face, Lainey has not only overcame them, she has placed herself in the driver’s seat of one of the hottest rides in the industry!

From living in a camper in the studio parking lot, to landing a #1 song, Lainey has earned her spot in the conversation and in our playlists. We go down a few rabbit holes that were brought up by Ms. Wilson’s youth.(I’m still sorry Gonzo)
