In Genesis 35, Jacob encounters God again where God coaches him in leading his family. Prior to this, Jacob's sons had done evil in retaliation for evil done to sister Dinah, creating unrest in surrounding communities. Jacob's transformational encounter helps to give him direction and lead his family in faithful obedience to God. What is God saying to us when the leaders of God’s household fear retaliation by a powerful adversary, because of the depraved behavior of some within the household of faith?
