Today’s conversation was such a meaningful one, wow we loved this couple. Rebecca St. James has won countless Grammy and Dove awards, is an accomplished actress and the author of more than a dozen books. You probably recognize her husband, Cubbie Fink, as a founding member of the multi-platinum Grammy-nominated band Foster the People. While they’ve both experienced high success, one of the coolest things about them is that they’ve been so open about the hard seasons they've walked through together and it’s helped so many people. In their new book, they open up about their journey with infertility, childhood trauma, depression, processing emotions, career, parenting and more. Honestly anyone can learn something from their story, they’re amazing. We hope if you’re going through a hard season, after listening to this episode you feel encouraged to keep going.

Today we got to talk about one of our biggest passions in life and that’s family. Our incredibly wise guest, Jeremy Pryor, is basically an expert on this, as he’s founded several businesses and nonprofits including FamilyTeams, which provides training content for families around the world. He’s also a husband and dad of five so he really knows what he’s talking about :)  We got to dive into how to build a strong family unit, what we can learn about the importance of family from different cultures, leaving a legacy for generations to come and more! This was a really important conversation and one we’ll definitely revisit to stay on track with our own family “team”  :)

Today we got to interview someone we’ve been hoping to meet for a long time and that’s a personal favorite author, counselor and teacher, John Eldredge! You may know John from his most popular book, Wild at Heart, a book Andrew recommends to everyone. “Wild at Heart” has inspired a ministry that currently includes events, retreats , a podcast and several additional books published by John. As parents of two boys, it was really impactful to talk to John about how to best support, encourage and raise confident young men in today’s world. Today is a big day for us because we got to interview the legend known as “The Pommel Horse Guy” and that’s 2-time Olympic medalist, Stephen Nedoroscik! We’ve been dying to interview Stephen from the moment we saw him compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He stole the crowd with his contagious smile and lovable energy and he has continued his incredible journey on Dancing With the Stars, where he’s been absolutely crushing it!
