Having the courage to speak up is actually a natural thing. Since we are kids we speak, we laugh, we scream, we are fully expressed. But as people judge our sense of expression, we play small. we keep shrinking and hiding parts of ourselevs to stay safe and loved. Here, I share my story as a jouranlist and a producer who found lots of adversrial reactions to her revolutionary ideas. To the extent that she stopped talking for a while. Until my mum died and that woke me up and from there I birthed this podcast, Courage Codes.

In this episode I discuss the definition of identity and how fragile and ever changing it is. When we are first born, we receive an ID with our name, gender, nationality and sometimes religion. This is a lot of identity being put on us all at once. But as we grow and evolve those identities shift, our alligences shift, based on threats and also desire.
