Darlene shares a story of courage where she, her brother and two of her cousins almost died in a snow storm. A miracle truly got them out alive and Darlene wants to express to us that miracles and courage are real!
Kate speaks to a story from her childhood. She didn’t realize how courageous it actually was until she was an adult and had children. She remembers a time when she was going into the 5th grade. Her little brother was not well and the family knew that if they did not change his environment, he was going to die. Like the “Clampetts” the family packed up their future lives from Indiana with $100 and moved to California to a higher, dryer climate...5 people, a German Shepard in a homemade trailer they made the trek. Camping for 4 months Kate thought it was the most amazing, adventurous time of her childhood. What courage it took her parents to cross the country to make it work for the love of their son. He was never sick after the courageous decision was made.
Kate shares another story of a young, homeless girl that will bring tears to your eyes. This young lady stood in her courage and chose to make a change for the better. It was not an easy journey, however, every year she made progress through a number of Firsts! This young lady went on to make something of her life and today is one of Kate’s Heros!
Piper goes through a couple of significant events in her life such as joining the theatre to get over her fear of public speaking. It was through this experience she realized how much she loved it and learned a greater sense of herself. Piper deepens into the courage of her granddaughter... when Piper noticed that she would cover her eyes when she was around people just like Piper did when she was a young girl. Piper would tell her granddaughter how brave she was and how good she was at that. Through her example, Piper taught her granddaughter to be Courageous!

When you have courage, it doesn’t mean you’re not afraid...YOU DO IT ANYWAY!

Ask yourself...what is the worst that can happen? BREATHE through it...and you will recognize that you can do anything!
