Darlene shares the origins of Mother’s Day, did you know that there was a Christian festival called, Mothering Sunday? Mother’s Day means many things to different people. Darlene speaks to her love of Mother Nature and that she does her conscious part to look after her. Darlene also shares that she herself is a Mother of All coming from a place and space of nurturing and giving unconditional love to others.
Piper boldly claims that it is an Honor to BE a Mother! Piper too equates Motherhood with nurturing and being the Most Precious Walk of Life! It is an Honor to Be her daughter’s mother. Motherhood gave her the grounding and anchor and Piper recognized being a Mother as the Greatest Responsibility. Motherhood stretches you to the depths of strength, patience, frustration and all the gorgeous other emotions you have the capacity to hold. Piper states that she was gifted the experience of being a Mother to have the ability to feel on such levels that no other experience could have gifted her. Now that she is a Grandmother, she has the grander wisdom than being a mother could have given her.
Belinda never felt that she ever was doing enough as a perfect “Super Woman” Mom. Belinda shares her Super Woman story because “back in the day”, being a career woman and a mother was still a new way of being. Now as a grandmother her attitude when things happen is, “relax, it going to be alright.” Raised by a selfless, loving mother has created who Belinda is. Belinda has a greater respect for her giving and selfless mother not that she has passed on and wishes that she could just pick up the phone and tell her so.
Kate starts us off with her story of her great great grandmother Miller. She thought her great great grandmother Miller had the most beautiful voice in the world and laughs later about how she was told that she was tone deaf. Kate knows that she was raised by strong women and has that foundation. Kate knew that her mom was different and lived a lot of her life through Kate. Kate looked after her mom until she transitioned. The last moments of her mom’s life are so precious to her. Kate shifts to sharing about her work as a juvenile counselor and that some of the nicest compliments she received were from the kids she worked with. They would say, “we don’t have a mom but we have Kate!” Kate knows that she did her best as a young mom, and may have not done a lot of things right for her kids, however the one thing her kids knew with certainty was she overflowed with love for her children. There was always an abundance of Love!

Darlene shared that she had many conversations with God and understood on a deeper level what Neale Donald Walsch was talking about. Darlene has lived most of her life in Faith, taking one step with the next step of the path always showing up. She let go the worry, has honored her realist friends and owned surrendering to the outcome.
Kate has lived in Faith most of her life. She shares her story of how she received the job of her dreams and how that all came about on Faith. She had needed a job, had been given several opportunities however turned them down because she came across the posting as if she had written her own job description. She wrote down, Kate Hired and put her suit beside it and looked at it every single day. She visualized having the job. This was in September. In December she declared, all she wanted for Christmas was this job. At 9:30pm Christmas Eve, she received the call and the position was hers!
Belinda has many stories of Faith and she lives by surrendering to a Higher Power! Her prayers have always been answered...never early but always on time!

Darlene starts off this podcast by stating….WE ARE ONE and we are here to do something special together. She refers to a significant event in her life where she had been betrayed. She was fortunate enough to have a “teacher” at the time who asked her some pretty point blank questions. It reminded her of the famous line that Jack Nicholson said….”YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH”. Being a woman of Integrity, a woman of her word, Darlene recognized that she first had to look within and recognize that we are not all bad or all good. Once she had this realization that she too has hurt people in her life even though not intentionally...did not make her a bad person and it gave her a deepened perspective of As Above, So Below.
Kate has worked with people with all kinds of addictions and they come to her for all kinds of reasons. Kate refers often in her story of “Uplifting Our Thought”. Kate shares a story of a client who wanted to change her life. Kate worked with her to understand that what we think about will elevate our life and they created something symbolic for her because Kate stated...what you kneel to is what you will experience. This client had drinking issue so two altars were created. One of her past with bottles of alcohol and the other was her family, travel, career, examples of freedom. There came a moment when the client had to kneel before the altar of her best life and she has never drank since. As Kate states this is an example of the Aboveness of the Beauty of Life!
Piper shares that As Above, So Below is an ancient quote yet so new. So many interpretations. A show she used to watch with her father was called, Cosmos, with Carl Sagan. We look exactly like what’s “out there”... this show has made an impression on her to present day! She then spoke to Dr. Joe Dispenza, about neuro-plasticity...when the brain makes a connection the neuro-synapsis connects. Then Gregg Braden shared certain images about the stars in the universe and how they connect to each other. The images they both shared with their examples were exactly the same!!! What’s out there is All in here!
Belinda shares her story of the the root structures of the forest and how they are exactly like the inner connectivity of our brain. As it is in Heaven, So it is on Earth! Sir Isaac Newton also had the same thought so truly, “there is nothing new under the sun”. We are seeking the secrets of The Universe!

Darlene shares a story of courage where she, her brother and two of her cousins almost died in a snow storm. A miracle truly got them out alive and Darlene wants to express to us that miracles and courage are real!
Kate speaks to a story from her childhood. She didn’t realize how courageous it actually was until she was an adult and had children. She remembers a time when she was going into the 5th grade. Her little brother was not well and the family knew that if they did not change his environment, he was going to die. Like the “Clampetts” the family packed up their future lives from Indiana with $100 and moved to California to a higher, dryer climate...5 people, a German Shepard in a homemade trailer they made the trek. Camping for 4 months Kate thought it was the most amazing, adventurous time of her childhood. What courage it took her parents to cross the country to make it work for the love of their son. He was never sick after the courageous decision was made.
Kate shares another story of a young, homeless girl that will bring tears to your eyes. This young lady stood in her courage and chose to make a change for the better. It was not an easy journey, however, every year she made progress through a number of Firsts! This young lady went on to make something of her life and today is one of Kate’s Heros!
Piper goes through a couple of significant events in her life such as joining the theatre to get over her fear of public speaking. It was through this experience she realized how much she loved it and learned a greater sense of herself. Piper deepens into the courage of her granddaughter... when Piper noticed that she would cover her eyes when she was around people just like Piper did when she was a young girl. Piper would tell her granddaughter how brave she was and how good she was at that. Through her example, Piper taught her granddaughter to be Courageous!

Darlene starts off this episode by sharing stories of challenging decisions that shaped who she is today. In the past she was someone that never gave herself credit, always worried what others thought of her, compared herself. Through life experiences she has taught herself to find her Voice and BE a role model for others.
Kate speaks about moving to California. She had never imagined ever being there and discovered it to be a magical place especially coming from a farm in Indiana. Kate made a decision to live in CA by the ocean because she knew her heart was already there. Kate recognizes what a blessing to her family that decision made as she has now lived there for over 30 years. She quotes Tony Robbins,”It's in the moment of decision, destiny is made”.
Piper jokingly shares that she made the decision to get married not once but twice...she was referring to the quote Darlene referred to earlier where some decisions haunt you forever…
Her silver lining of a decision was the gift of her daughter. Piper reminds us that if we don’t decide that there will be others who will decide for us. One of Piper’s powerful decisions is to get up early to exercise. She chooses to get better! Even doing this weekly podcast is Inspiring her!
Belinda starts off by asking us a question, how do you make a decision? She feels it comes from our gut. She also does a Pros and Cons list however after writing it out, will still go with her gut. She states, I’ve never been in this decade before...Belinda shares a powerful quote by c.s.lewis regarding decisions. She feels like she has really just started her life. It’s really easy to make a decision when you know what your values are! She had to make a decision how she wanted to move forward in her life towards her Destiny! Belinda speaks to Courage. She didn’t know what she was avoiding and became Pro-active. Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you’re ready to face the questions you’ve been avoiding your whole life!!!

Darlene starts off this episode by sharing her privilege of hosting an EMF Event in Kelowna, BC Canada with the top 4 scientists in the world who are experts in this field.
Books she recommends for those who choose to do further research are as follows: Take Back Your Power- Film by Josh Del Sol, Dirty Electricity by Samuel Milham, MD, MPH, Over Powered by Martin Blank, PhD, and Public Health SOS:the Shadow Side of the Wireless Revolution by Camilla Rees and Magda Havas. Another book which has impacted her life significantly is 1984 by George Orwell.
Being an empath, Darlene feels more deeply and is ultra sensitive to energies however expresses that for everyone it’s important to pay attention to what your body is telling you. Be conscious of where you place your devices on or by your body. One important example is that most people don’t realize the repercussions of mercury amalgams and the cell phone to your face. You actually become a conductor.
Belinda became much more aware of EMFs because a friend of hers was very sensitive. EMFs really hit home when she was driving with Piper and they saw the roadsides being prepared for the onslaught of 5G in their area. Belinda has even moved her cell phone to charge on the other side of the room so its not right beside her head.
Connie shares that she too is an empath and an intuitive. There are many discussions around this topic especially with her 3 brilliant children. Her latest experience was the gift her 3 received from a family member at Christmas. It was a beanie with headphones inside that connected directly to bluetooth and wifi. They literally had their brain activated by this energy 24/7. With all the ongoing technology Connie has her concerns and her children are starting to pay attention too. Connie says that as much as possible she deactivates herself being around her Himalayan salt lamp.
Kate loves Dr. Joe Dispenza! She speaks to the energy we bring and quieting her mind at night with I AM statements. Quieting herself at different parts of the day is important. She calls it a “healthy addiction”. This gorgeous sense of energy Kate chooses to be in as much as possible.
Piper shares her wisdom on the energy coming from different devices. She reminds us that this energy is designed to go through buildings, cars, and that this energy goes through us and damages our DNA! Piper further stresses that this EMF energy makes you more susceptible to chronic disease which breaks down to oxidative stress. Did you know that because we are negatively charged that we are magnets for all these positive ions?

This episode is brought to you by a business opportunity that WE feel has the potential to change your life!
Forbes said, “in the next five years, 79 Million people will have home-based businesses”. The world as we know it is changing. Technology is replacing many jobs and who ever thought that shopping malls would actually shut down. Did you know that Payless Shoes recently went bankrupt? That was a “go-to” shopping place for many families. There were over 2000 locations closed in the US and over 200 in Canada. Where will these employees find work? We have a better way!
People are buying differently and a lot of those purchases are on-line. People are willing to pay more for quality and for products that are multi-faceted. We have a solution!

Darlene starts off this episode by sharing that she has always considered herself and kind person and Paying It Forward was something that was and is innate for her. Giving to others brings her Joy because she experiences the difference and the Joy that it brings to other people’s lives. Giving is from the heart and that is who you are.
Kate shares several heartfelt stories on the theme of Paying It Forward starting with an experience she had with her daughter. They had come across a homeless woman who had not shoes and her daughter took off her brand new tennis shoes (runners in Canada) and gave them to this homeless woman. Kate witnessed the look on the woman’s face of the gift the woman received from her daughter and has never forgotten that moment.
Kate delves even deeper to her story of Kimi. When Kate was a juvenile counselor she was approached by Kimi who wanted to help the youth of her community. Kimi was not a wealthy woman however obviously wealthy of heart. Every 3 months she would give Kate a substantial check to utilize those funds in the best way possible. Kate was able to Bless thousands of people with this gift. Kimi asked to remain anonymous however asked Kate to share the stories, and would say, “tell me the stories, tell me what was on the kids’ faces”. Kate felt so blessed to be able to do this for her and learned how to Be Graciously Humble.
Belinda shares, you don’t have to have much to give to others. Was brought up that when you’re blessed you bless others. Who can you help? Belinda personally has had experiences where someone has paid the toll tag and she was so touched by the experience that the next week she did that for someone else. When experiences such as this take place in your life you are teaching others how to BE. Belinda closes with a powerful quote from Winston Churchill…”We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give!”
Piper continues as she resonates completely with Paying It Forward because she has always wanted to Be a Philanthropist. You don’t have to have money to give. With that being said, in order to Be a Philanthropist you do and she has found a vehicle that allows her to give where she chooses to give. Piper boldly claims, where we put our money is what we support and she chooses to consciously support that for the Greater Good! Piper appreciates that we have a platform to give to others and to raise funds for helping others including causes.

Darlene starts of this Episode with a quote by Doe Zantamata, “Begin Each Day With a Little Courage, a Little Curiosity, and a Little Spring in Your Step. She goes through how Courage, Curiosity and Spring have shaped her life to this present moment in time. She refers to one of her favorite quotes by Rumi….”sell your cleverness and buy bewilderment”. Have the childlike Characteristics of Awe and Wonder!!!
Kate speaks to New Birth and New Beginnings. Kate shared her experience with pre-schoolers where they would be so excited about planting beans. They were in complete wonderment to watch life being ignited from the soil within the milk carton. Kate also educates us on how Spring is Celebrated in different parts of the world through plays, festivals and FUN! In India they celebrate the colors of Spring. This is about the Re-birth of Nature!
Spring is Belinda’s favorite time of year! Out with the Old and In with the New! Spring is a Time of HOPE! During her story, Belinda slips in that she forgot to plant her lettuce...She also kidded about it being Daylight Savings Time and how she appreciated having more light at the end of the day. California apparently just passed a law pertaining to it.
Piper LOVES the longer days...Spring is about “LIghten Up”! Its an Infusion of Energy. Its a time when we start to change our diet. More salads and more water! Weeds pop up that are good for us. Dressing well and dressing for success has always been important to Darlene. Even as an entrepreneur creating her international business from home she understands the importance of feeling good, looking good and smelling good. “Acting As If” assists with how you come across with others. Dressing beautiful doesn’t have to have a big price tag. You can find gorgeous treasures in second-hand stores and consignment shops that will match your personality and make the impression you are looking for.
For Belinda, dressing for success has been very important being in the sales profession. It is even more essential in the industry of skin and aesthetics. Details are critical. Belinda goes into what’s appropriate and what’s not when applying for jobs. She chuckles that “she has seen it all”. You dress how you want to be addressed! Belinda educates us on an organization called, Dress for Success, a volunteer agency that brings in professional business suits to help ladies dress for success and assist with interview skills. There is no excuse to not empower yourself for your life and your work/career. Belinda stresses that there are people out there to help you. Belinda also encourages people to donate their clothing to the Dress For Success cause.
Piper speaks to comfort vs looking good. She laughs as she shares the importance of good underwear. We all laughed because maybe all of us related so much. Piper disclosed that dressing for success was not necessarily her forte however she loves to wear non-traditional clothes that represent her personality. She discovered a company that has yoga pants that look like business pants. She giggled and said, “that is something I can do!”
Kate’s piece of wisdom is that the most important person to impress is yourSelf. It sets up your inner and outer mood for the day. Kate goes on to share a story of a teacher who taught her that every morning we get to wake up and dress who we want to be. How we want people to see us in the world. Kate has never forgotten this and has always loved getting ready for her morning. Kate encourages us to lay your wardrobe out so in the morning you can prepare yourself for who you are going to be the next morning. Kate shares this powerful quote, “You are today where your thoughts have brought You and You will be tomorrow where your thoughts will take You”. This gives you complete FREEDOM to make that decision. You wake up in the morning to BE the very best version of yourSelf! Darlene honors those in attendance for the history-making first podcast of YouthfulU for International Women’s Day. What is the meaning of International Women’s Day and what better way to start off this episode than by Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Prize laureate. Darlene speaks to her own journey as a woman being raised in the 60s, an era when you were still to be home making babies and the start of women getting out in the world to have careers. Darlene shares a couple of women that have inspired her, Joan of Arc and Mother Teresa.
Connie speaks passionately her privilege of being surrounded by Powerful Women her entire life. Her mom, Jan Ostler has always been an Inspiration. Jan is a Pioneer. Connie also comes from a family of women, out of 72 grandchildren only 6 are boys. WOW! Connie was encouraged to follow her hopes and dreams and was the first in her family to attend college. Her best friend, Claudia is her biggest inspiration. Claudia is from Columbia. She was exiled and raised her and her sister from nothing. It’s an incredible story of how Claudia learned to be a fighter and succeed. Connie encourages the listener to think about what YOU as a woman are most proud of? What contributions have you given to yourself, family, community, and the world that will carry on?
Piper shares her love of period pieces, history, women’s fashion and how it has changed. How women went from wardrobes that we bound up tight, cinched, corseted. Everything had to be covered up, and it certainly wasn’t about comfort! In the past, marriage was a business transaction and women were chattel. Our entire financial stability was related to being with a man. As women became more free, the clothing became more free. Remember the flapper dresses of the 40s? Freedom of movement and no waistline!
As a mother, Kate shares a poem she resonates deeply with called, “She’s Somebody’s Mother”. This poem is one of the most precious items she owns. Kate encourages anyone who hasn’t heard of it, to give themselves this gift. Kate goes on to let us know her favorite author, Dr. Venice Bloodworth wrote, Key to Yourself, which is a book to live by. Madge Reynolds is also her hero so come be a part of this episode and learn why.
Belinda feels extraordinarily fortunate. She too is the first to get a college degree. She had no idea why she shouldn’t have a degree. Belinda was inspired greatly by several women, these were women that believed in her! Thank You Sherri Fisher, Joyce Pinni and Nancy Brand from Belinda!!! Oprah has further inspired her. Oprah dared to Believe in herself and someone dared to believe in her. When someone believes in you, you can conquer the world! Belinda closes by saying, who you know close to you and not close to you? Go Inspire Someone!
