Episode brought to You by Magnical D
Hosts: Darlene Ondi, Piper Burch, Kate Miller and Belinda Muse
Darlene starts this episode with letting the listeners know that previous to 6 months ago life as a single woman was full, fun, and free, with that being said, being in a new relationship has created a new way to experience the “day of love”!
Living 4 blocks away from a chocolate factory, Darlene shares her experience of having what she thought was the best chocolate...that is, until she met her first and only chocolatier, Piper Burch. Once you’ve had organic, sourced from the best places chocolate...You can Never Go Back!!!
Piper reminds us that Matters of the Heart are physical and non-physical. She speaks to the leading cause of death which is heart dis-ease. Have you heard of the importance of Vitamin K, why you don’t want to be calcified? Reishi mushroom is her favorite support/heart-opening herb. Learn what Shen tonic is and why this is helpful to the heart as the center of our emotions. Long-term, un-resolved stresses of frustration, fear, anxiety, disappointment ultimately lead to our death (Gregg Braden). Resiliency is the key!!! Piper shares how being content and fulfilled as a single woman assists with heart health, and that she really didn’t understand the value of Valentine’s Day until she had her daughter.
Kate used to dread Valentine’s Day if she didn’t have a boyfriend. As a young woman, she used to feel left out and unworthy. Kate has studied LOVE. It’s not a personal thing. LOVE Belongs to ALL of US! (What a gorgeous statement!) Kate recalls buying a card every Valentine’s Day on behalf of her deceased brother for her mom. She later went on to add her step-dad so that her mom would receive a card from “her boys”. Her mom would wait in anticipation for these cards because they meant so much. Each Valentine’s Day, Kate pauses and thinks about the people she loves. She quotes, “the pause is precious”.
Belinda is celebrating 43 years of marriage. Valentine’s Day to her...this is about showing your love on a daily basis. She shares that there are still girls who are devastated if they don’t have a date on Feb. 14th. Go out and find somebody to Love on that day! Belinda goes on to share the passing of her beloved mother-in-law and the outpouring of love from the community. Belinda ends on a much lighter note with letting us know that after this many years of Valentines that she can get away with “recycling” her cards and just getting a new envelope. Belinda’s tip…”where’s the chocolate?” LOL
