The Word of God and the filling of the Holy Spirit can give you the confidence and the courage to endure the great pressures that can, and will, come your way. Take confidence in this—for you nothing is abnormal, it’s all in God’s plan. You are valuable to God. “What time I am afraid I will trust in Thee” (Ps 56:3). Fear is a sin and can ruin your life. “Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9). Physical courage is a human virtue but spiritual courage is a required character asset called faith.
