Looking at a lesser-known prophetic Scripture, Laurie finds puzzle pieces that talk of timing, specifically a time when Israel awakens to the Messiah. Interesting turns unfold and the mention of the word .. (hold your breath--she's going to say that forbidden word)...rapture. Zechariah 9-14 hosts duel prophecies--one of which was fulfilled with the first coming of Christ. As nations line up against Israel, will we see this prophecy reach its second fulfillment in the second return of Christ.
Maybe so.
But as Christians, we're called to be aware, be watchful of what our God is doing in the world and how we are to battle through prayer and hope against the enemies of Israel and of our Savior.  
So what in the world is happening today? Let's watch and see but weather the storm through eyes on the purposes of God.

Beware--we're mining beneath the surface to pull up a little sin we often gloss over. That sin is insecurity. It's a sin because if we're insecure, that means we've put our validation into the hands of another authority and not our Maker's.
