Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of the Mexican victory at the Battle of Puebla. Haley explains that much like the Mexicans at Puebla in 1862, we as Christians need to be on the attack against the gates of hell with the gospel of Jesus.

Jesus has given his church a mission to change the world, but it won't come easily. Ephesians 5 explains that we should be filled with the Holy Spirit and make the most of every opportunity to make a difference with the gospel.

Romans 6 tells us that the penalty for our sins is death. But for those of us that have made Jesus our Lord and Savior, we need to act out in the knowledge that we have been saved through the love and grace of Christ.

In Ezekiel 37, God gives his prophet Ezekiel a vision of a valley of bones becoming a great army. Josh explains that as the Church, we are called to be a movement of disciple makers.

Ephesians 2 tells us that we are all dead because we have refused to obey God and there is nothing that any of us can do about it. But Jesus came to save us, and through him there is a way for us to be made alive.

In Luke 15:25-32, Jesus concludes the parable of the Prodigal Son. In it we see the faithful son become jealous of his brother and the party that was thrown upon his return. Josh explains that the gospel is just as central to our daily lives as it was to our salvation and that we must constanly remember that only through the work of Jesus we have been saved.

In Luke 15:11-24, Jesus tells the parable of the Prodigal Son. Josh explains how well this story illustrates our need for repentance and God's amazing reconciliation and grace.

Jesus treated others differently than the religous people of his day. In the same way, he has called his followers to live like he did and to show people that his love and grace is freely available to all just as they are.

Josh and Haley break down the vision for Courageous Life and how we will have the opportunity to grow together in Christ as a family of missionary servants making Jesus known one life at a time.

In Acts 2, we see a glimpse of how the early Church lived out their everyday lives and how God worked through them to propogate the gospel of Jesus. Josh and Haley discuss how we as Christians are called to be intentional as we build relationships with unbelievers.
