Has society properly defined courageous men? We have trained boys at a young age to reject negative emotions. How many times have they been told not to cry and "handle it like a man"? The only acceptable negative emotion, even through adulthood, is anger. Powerful feelings such as sadness, fear and shame are pushed under the rug, only to resurface stronger and be projected on innocent people at inappropriate times. In this episode, we explore the dangers of suppressing men's emotions and not encouraging them to feel or express their full range of human existence. We also share how we can start breaking this cycle.
