Your goal as the course creator is to make it as easy and quick as possible (include the essential steps only, direct links, cheat sheets, to do lists and templates). 

To estimate the time it takes for your course:

• Start by counting up the hours of time in the videos and written content
• Estimiate implementation time for you - and multiply by 2x to 5x for beginners
• Work with your beta course students to estimate their time
• Sum up so you can give an approximate time
• Then add a caveat that it depends on a lot of factors, but this is your general estimate (and your results may vary)
• You may want to add "recommended time to spend" to your lessons so your students don't go down rabbit holes!  (I do this in 24 Hour Course Creator where I give a specific amount of time to be spent on research)

1. The Return on Time Investment is so great - for awareness, exposure, leads and conversions
2. We have access to a global audience (it used to be only TV networks had that access)
3. Easiest place to start is Facebook Live. You can download and upload into YouTube.
4. Turn your current content and reuse as videos (use Descript to create videos from your audios - with slides, captions and images)
5. YouTube requires consistency and you need 100 subscribers.
6. YouTube sweet spot - between 3 to 8 minutes.
7. YouTube Shorts - under 60 seconds.
8. Record videos in batches
9. When doing voice-over slides, you don't have to be on-screen, but come on at the beginning and the end of the lesson.
10. You can use Zoom to record your videos and saving to your hard drive will get better video (with higher resolution)
11. YouTube is almost like TV now, with the way people watch.
12. Remember your call to action in your videos!

1. I am a fanatic about my calendar and blocking time, plus getting reminders.   

2. My time was much easier to manage now that my kids have flown the nest!   

3. I set up regular Routines – and rework them regularly.   

4. I know what I need to help focus – sometimes it’s my focus music, and sometimes it’s caffeine!  

5. I set a lot of deadlines!  

6. I know my main projects (or goals) for each week and each month – long-term vs. short-term content, new courses, partners, marketing focus, etc.  

7. I type fast – keyboard that works with both my computer and my phone -

8. I read fast. 

9. I try to organize my files – so I’m not wasting time hunting for things. 

10. I try to eliminate time-consuming chores (getting groceries, mowing the lawn). 

11. I often do things when I don’t feel like it or I’m not motivated! 

BONUS TIP  – I try to recognize when I need a break.
