The model was produced as part of the 900th anniversary celebrations of the Domesday Book being produced. The model included a representation of the original Manor House – now Court Hall and Court House, Hampshire. The model was displayed in the Great Hall in Winchester (Hampshire) and is now on show at the Bayeux Museum in France.
