No worship experience is complete without diving into the depths and wonders of God’s word. God’s wonders are to be remembered and pondered. The power of God’s word in worship will drive you to your knees with conviction and then lift you to new heights with joy and celebration.

Music is a favorite part of a worship service. However, it is so much more than a pretty song or happy memory. When you give your music to God, the song becomes the harmony of the Holy Spirit and the cry of your heart.

Your worship is not about what you get out of church. Worship is what you give to God. Worship is the turning of your life over to Him, nothing less. A service of worship, therefore, is a service of surrender.

Your worship experience begins before you ever arrive at church. Your expectations and motives will put you on the right road or lead you off course. The Psalmist encourages you to travel the road of delight in the law of the LORD.

Prayer is often the last resort to trouble and pain. God wants you to be proactive and build a legacy of prayer. The Bible tells us about Daniel who passionately and consistently prayed for things that would occur many years in the future.

God wants you to be persistent in prayer. This is not because God is hard of hearing; it’s because we are faint of heart. Jesus tells the story of the persistent widow and promises that those who are like her will see God work.
