In this message from Luke 24:44–48, we explore the “aha” moment when the risen Christ opens the minds of His disciples to understand how the entire Old Testament points to Him. From Genesis to the Psalms to the Prophets, we trace how the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus were not tragic surprises, but sovereignly planned and prophetically foretold. This sermon unpacks powerful examples of messianic prophecy and biblical typology, calling us to a deeper confidence in Scripture and a more active faith in Christ.
Confidence in the Word of God
The remarkable unity and accuracy of fulfilled prophecy fortify our trust in Scripture. What was promised has come to pass. We can trust what God has said about the future too.
Renewal of Faith in Christ’s Work
Let the clarity of prophecy and the fulfillment in Jesus strengthen your belief in the power of the cross and the resurrection.
Proclamation of the Risen Christ
Like the disciples who ran to tell others, we are witnesses—through the Scriptures and by faith. Don’t let your “aha” moment end in silence. Share the story. Tell someone why Easter still matters.

This is the third week of Easter Season. Join us in 1 Corinthians 15:12-22 and learn how these biblical truths show us how if Christ had not been raised, our faith would be worthless… but because He has been raised, we have a living hope, a future inheritance, and a gospel worth living and dying for.

Palm Sunday prophesied and fulfilled: Zechariah 9:9-10 & John 12:12-19.
Therefore,
Christ came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died a terrible death to cover your sin. It’s the only thing in life that’s actually free. Trust Him. Lay down your expectations at His feet, and trust the King for who He truly is — not just who you wish He would be.
Start by getting your own house in order — your heart, your home, your habits — and then build, plant, and advance the Kingdom wherever God has placed you. The world belongs to Christ — act like it.
If His Kingdom is advancing, then our hope is not wishful thinking — it’s unstoppable reality. So, work boldly for the Kingdom today, knowing that your labor in Christ is never wasted.
Because, Our King has come. His Kingdom is growing. His victory is sure.

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”
• Do we serve God only when things go our way?
• Do we trust Him when obedience doesn’t seem to “pay off” right away?
• Are we willing to remain faithful, even when life feels unfair?
