As we read God’s Word, the Bible, we find that fasting is a very important characteristic of every man and woman of God. Fasting is mainly for spiritual reasons, but it can also benefit you physically and mentally.

Part Three of Smoke and Mirrors

Something that is described as 'smoke and mirrors' is intended to make you believe that something is being done or going to happen when it is not. Are you basing your decisions and actions on temporary emotions and feelings or upon God's Word and His Promises?

Disease and sickness are evil. Disease and sickness originated with the kingdom of darkness. And who is the commander in chief of the kingdom of darkness? The devil.

Jesus said, in John 10:10, “the thief (Devil) comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I’ve come that you might have life and life more abundantly.”

In your trials, adversities, problems, and circumstances, do not doubt or call into question God's love for you. Do not judge God's love by what is or is not happening in your life!

There is still a great spiritual warfare going on today for the lives of men and women, young and old. As Christians, we must understand that this war is, first and foremost, a spiritual war that manifests itself in the natural realm of our culture and society at large.

How do you handle the 'waiting room' of faith? There are times in life when we are believing God for something that it feels like we get stuck in the 'waiting room' of faith! There is always a space in between the promise and the fulfillment. How you handle the waiting room will determine if and when you see the fulfillment of the promise.
