1. You will encounter stumbling blocks-2. Woe to the one who places a stumbling block in front of someone else-3. Take heed to yourself in regard to stumbling blocks

1. A rich man and a poor man-2. A dead rich man and a dead poor man-3. The rich man and the poor man responding to God's word

1. God uses evil men as instruments to punish other evil men-2. God holds evil men responsible for their actions

1. Paul requests prayer that the Lord's word would run rapidly-2. Paul request prayer for deliverance from wicked men

1. Under Rehoboam the covenant threat is fulfilled-2. Under Abijam the covenant promise is preserved-3. Under Asa the covenant stipulation is obeyed

1. Stand firm in the apostolic traditions--2. Pray for God's enabling strength

1. The all-knowing God cannot be manipulated-2. The true and living God severely judges idolatry
