The Lord Jesus Christ who saves is very precious to those who truly know His salvation. He becomes so important to them that they detest anything that would get in the way of their relationship with Him or with anybody else's.

God is the one who brought the material world into being-out of nothing. This is a very wonderful thing. God made it all. You see His power. You see His wisdom and imagination. You see His love and goodness- all the things that are made for us. We ought to worship and give thanks to Him and trust Him when we consider the things that He has made.

Let us not pass by the marvellous things that are said about our Lord in the opening verses of our text -9-31-. This is very familiar information for us. This is the third time since Peter's confession that Jesus has spoken of His death and resurrection. But we must never glibly pass over such declarations. Ours is to be much more than a mere knowledge of the facts surrounding our Lord's death and resurrection. We are to be His worshippers-
