Just like approximately 38% of all marriages in Canada, Lover Me is ending with divorce. We talk about Gordon Lightfoot's devastating hit "If You Could Read My Mind" and do our best to make some fart jokes to lighten the mood. Stick around for our bonus segment to see us compare the Lover Me songs head-to-head in true romantic fashion.

The penultimate episode of Lover Me is a big deal for Alex and me because we talk about "Heroes" by David Bowie. We fucking love David Bowie. So much so that we forgot the mention the quotation marks in the title of this song that imply a certain level of irony in the lyrics. So I've mentioned that here where you're almost certain to never see it. Also we rank Bowie's Berlin Trilogy in our bonus segment so stick around for the whole episode.

We're looking back on the year 2019 and all the good times we've had on Cover Me. We discuss our Spotify Wrapped statistics, what we've learned this year, and what the best, worst, and weirdest episodes of the podcast were. The audio quality on this one isn't great, so sorry about that. Happy New Year!
