Cash finds a wife

The parents of the Dalton boys made the condition that in order to inherit their parcel of land on the ranch, they had to marry. Because of that condition, the five Dalton sons have been "wife hunting" but not having much luck. Even though they are all big, beautiful, good men, living on a ranch with nothing around for miles makes it next to impossible to find a wife, especially one who likes country living. The men don't have time to spend courting a woman because they have so much work to do on the ranch. Besides the daily running of the ranch, they are building a house for one of the other brothers who recently married, leaving no time for anything else.

Cowboy Bargain is about Cash finding his wife. The way he finds her is not typical and starts with one of the ranch hands showing him a picture of his daughter who lives in Mexico. The hand wants Cash to marry her so she can come to Texas, get her green card and be away from the dangers of life in her country. Cash looks at the picture a lot over the following weeks and agrees to marry her. Cash sees marrying her and bringing her to the U.S. as a win/win situation since she gets to live a good life in the U.S. and he gets his land.

I absolutely love the characters in this series. The Dalton boys(men) are wonderful men who are tough and work hard but have soft sides which shows up when they are gentle with injured animals or with women. I like the way their mom treats them like her children and doesn't care about their ages. She doesn't hesitate to cuddle them or scold them when they need it. We didn't see her in this book much though.

This installment was really quite sweet and sexy. It has the ole west feel and with a lot of country traditions. What continued to be present was the love of land and simple things.

As a whole this was a quick, happy, enjoyable read that I wouldnât hesitate to recommend. It is another awesome work by Em Petrova leaving you satisfied yet wanting to know more about the other brothers.

Another great read with brother Cash and the ranch hand's daughter Maya. She needs to get out of where she's at and across the border before something bad happens to her. Manny asks Cash if he would marry his daughter so she can live on the farm with them all and be legal. Cash is all on board with it once he sees her picture.
