a good read

I enjoyed reading this, even though the dialog is a bit slow at times. The writer has given us a wonderful story about a woman and her feelings for two different men. Her confusion with her feelings, and the circumstances around each man, creates a great read. Throughout the entire book, you are never sure which one she will choose in the end, if either. In the end, it all makes sense. The only thing I would have liked to have read is perhaps either another chapter, or epilogue, letting us know how they did a little further down the road.

Errors but still great read

The characters dialogue could be more realistic when talking to each other. Also there are editors errors that I'm sure wasn't caught during their read. For example, Jaime used her own name like she was talking in third person when she was supposed to be talking about someone else. Also, at one point she dressed in ash dress and flip flops that that morning, then later when she arrived home Austin undid her pants and took her shirt off. Other than those things it was a great short read.

Loved this set. Had to read all 3. Great romance with twists and surprizes.

Don't waste your time and money

This is so much drivel. She can't decide which guy to be with. She sleeps with one guy, then the other, then goes back to the first. There's a confrontation when both guys meet face-to-face, and she tells them she's confused: "I care about you both very much, and I don't think I can tell either one of you to walk away right now. If you can't handle this, then you know you can go at any time. I need time to figure out what I want. It's not fair to any of us, but it's the truth, and it's the way it has to be." Which self-respecting guy would hang around after that? Yet they BOTH do! She tells one guy, "You are so sweet, and you have a part of my heart," while her internal monologue says she's still in love with the other and that she has to accept it. This goes on right until 94% of the book! And the only reason why she makes up her mind at 94% is because she finds out that one of them was cheating on her -- as if she hadn't been cheating on them with each other (even if they both knew about it)!

This isn't romance and it isn't sexy. It's just messed up. The heroine is messed up, and I have no clue what either of the two guys see in her. Both guys are messed up in their own ways as well. The dialogue is stilted and the writing is shallow.
