Confronting racism begins by educating ourselves and talking about it, even when it is difficult and uncomfortable. Take one piece at a time, such as understanding how microaggressions show up daily for people of color, so you can develop a new way of thinking and interacting in our workplaces. and I think we have to start by talking about it - and not in temporary memes and social media posts or even inspiring messages from our leadership team. I believe we have authentically engage in conversations and look where I am responsible for racism, particularly with Blacks and African Americans.
