Week 5: 

1. Pray and discern to whom and how God may be calling you to connect people to Christ, as our church’s mission statement says. It could be inviting them to church, giving them a ride to church, sharing your God stories, or showing them love and kindness so they know they are valuable.
2. Are you feeling discouraged or lost? Lost, not knowing if you are ready for the future, for the health diagnosis, or maybe not knowing how ready you are for adulthood, work life, the economy, for old age, death? Or are you discouraged because of loved ones who are far from the Lord? If you do, think of this last “what if”: “What if God can find and rescue us all no matter how lost we are?”

1. Do others experience you as a “well-watered garden” or a “sun-scorched land” (Isaiah 58:11)? If you aren’t sure, ask someone who knows you.
2. What if you took the Sabbath seriously? How would that change your rhythm this week?  And how might you discover the delight of a day of rest (Isaiah 58:13)?

Week 2 Practice: Pray the Lord's Prayer this week (Matthew 6:9-13) slowly. 

1. How might your daily plans, words, and thoughtschange if God's will is your top priority (6:10)?
2. Who is one person you currently need to extend forgiveness to in order to align with this prayer (6:12)? Ask the Lord to help you forgive.

1. Look for the poppies blooming on your way home today. How did it feel to see them and remember that God loves you unconditionally?

2. When you feel empty, hopeless or alone, how do you tend to fill that space? Pay attention to when that happens this week—take a deep breath and pray the Lord’s Prayer. Ask God to give you His daily bread.

3. Read Numbers 6:22-27. What is it about this blessing from Moses that changes how we see ourselves? Remind yourself and each other that the Lord’s face lights up when He sees you. You are loved by God.
