Sometimes it takes foolishness to grasp true wisdom rather than claiming wisdom and in the end being foolish.

Jesus is concerned with both the physical needs as well as the spiritual need. Is either one greater than the other? The mark of Christianity is serving the needs around us so that we can share Jesus answer for the ultimate need.

God's desire is that Christians grow. Are you growing? Parents raise children so they eventually grow up to maturity. The purpose is not merely to mature, but to mature for a greater purpose. God's purpose for growing His people is for a purpose that is anchored in the very reason Jesus came to save all people from sin.

LIke McDonald's without hamburgers, the Christian without a close relationship with Jesus doesn't make much sense.It's easy to follow Jesus when we receive benefits and blessings. However, Jesus didn't settle with large crowds or for popularity. He came to die and rise again for sin and bring sinners back to a relationship with God. Jesus is more than an inspiration. He's the foundation for eternal life.

A clear distinguishing mark of the church is not in religious activities or outer ornaments. According to Jesus, the world will know that we are disciples by our love (John 13:34-35). What happens when a church is known for its love? It paves the way for God's redemption through Jesus Christ.

Is Christianity simply about knowing about God and Jesus? Religious affiliation may not be what God had in mind for us. We explore the difference between living with God versus walking with God. Intimacy with a God who wants a love relationship with you makes all the difference in the world.
