The last few days on this broadcast, we've heard some compelling discussion between Bram Floria and author and intrepid storyteller, Hope Flinchbaugh. Bram continued to 'roll tape' during their discussion, and they talked about a troubling cult-like movement that's becoming a dangerous challenge for our brother and sisters in Christ, that we need to know about...

Yesterday, Bram Floria re-introduced us to C. Hope Flinchbaugh, a successful novelist and writer of inspiring and motivating articles. Her work has been featured in numerous Christian publications. Her "Daughter of China" series of books brought the struggles and triumphs of the booming Church in Asia to a vast new audience and radically motivated many to action.

Today they continue their discussion of the rapidly changing situation within the world's largest Christian Nation, and how it's spilling over into countries all across Asia - even the seemingly impenetrable 'Hermit Kingdom' of North Korea!

How does someone go from 'Suburban Housewife' to 'International Expert on Persecution' and 'Best-selling Author?' Well, it's a funny story... the kind we like to tell here at Compassion Radio. 

When C. Hope Flinchbaugh heard the news about the suffering of the Christian Church in China, she couldn't sit back and do nothing. Her heart was seared by the reality that persecution - like that suffered by the 'Founding Fathers of the Faith' - was back and raging through China. So... she did something about it. And when you say 'Yes!' to the Lord's prompting some pretty amazing things can happen.

Along the way, Hope has brought to light the reality of Christian suffering around the World, how it's advancing the Kingdom of Christ, and how that booming Church is rapidly transforming the world. Hundreds of thousands have been inspired by her books to do something themselves! Over the next few days, you might just be moved to join them.

As we officially transition from October to November, we're going to finish off Bram and Sandi Floria's conversation with a dynamic couple who have become fast friends, Mark and Joani Akers of Oasis International in St. Louis, Missouri.

The tireless work these two have done on behalf of the refugee and the immigrant in their midst is nothing short of inspirational.

Here we are on the very last day of October.. a month where we've really honed in on the plight of our refugee and immigrant brothers and sisters who are living here in the states.. many carrying with them the baggage of heartbreak and tragedy.
