A Vision is Carried All the Way Down The Company Line  

Crafting a vision statement can sometimes feel a bit odd when you are starting out.   Mike Woeckener continues his discussion of writing for the future of your business.  This week he shares how and why vision statements are so important.   

Mike shares that, "the objective behind a vision statement is supposed to be a short paragraph and it guides you through the obstacles and tough places,...And it is actually what is your target? What is, you know, your five to 10-year or beyond? What are you trying to accomplish? That's, that's part of it, too."  Moving a business forward is not always about making another sale. Developing a foundation upon which you can grow is more important for the future than any money you make today.
