I have four short stories and a poem for you today. We have the second part of The Heart and Harvest, an amusing monster story, a western love story, a poem about the beauty of poetry , and Robert G. Longpré's eighth chapter from Sanctuary.

I made a couple of small changes to the podcast this week. I have added in a two minute advertisement about donations for my work here and about my website after I read all of today's offerings, on the advice of some professional podcasters. I also shortened the post message with a new Irish blessing in both Gaeilge and English. Welcome to Crann na beatha Short Stories and Poetry for Jan. 12th, 2024

I am Terrance Ó Domhnaill, your Irish scéalaí. Come in, sit down for a wee bit so I can read a couple of stories and poems for you again this week.

I have three short stories and a poem for you this week. The poem is about children and how they grow up so fast, there is one fantasy story, another about relationships and dating, and Robert G. Longpré's seventh chapter from Sanctuary.

I start off the year with five poems and two stories. One being the sixth chapter of The Sanctuary story. I am running behind this week as I have been tangled up with other pressing obligations. I would like to thank everyone for listening one again as we head inot new territory for the new year.

I bring you five stories and a childrens poem today to complete the year. I know it has been a rough past year for everyone so I have a couple of humorous stories to help lighten things up as we head into the weekend and out into 2024. Be safe.

I have nine short stories and poems for you this week. Some are Christmasy, some not so much, Robert G. Longpré's fourth chapter from his new book, Sanctuary and lastly, a Christmas poem I found from a Facebook writer in one of my Pagan groups.

Then a couple of political pieces, a story about racism, and an ode to Palestine. Next, I have a bit of a thriller, and lastly, another poem from Bulgaria.

I have five stories this week, with sound effects once again. The biggest change is I am not adding in Irish music at the end anymore. I am having some copyright issues with the Russians and maybe others in YouTube. Besides, not everyone is a fan of Irish music anyway.
