The first season was released in 2017 and achieved some cult success, with a second season released in 2019 and has a planned third and final season in production at the time of recording.

The show is a science fiction thriller set in the fictional German town of Winden, and involves a tangled web of characters, each with their own mysterious stories and a central plot involving time travel that leaves the viewer guessing what might come next.

The program has been favorably compared to cult classic Twin Peaks and recent smash hit Stranger Things!
