In this episode of the Craving Consciousness Podcast, Melissa Rippe and I go into The Left Hand Side. Melissa seeks to help awaken witches and dispel some of the stigmas associated!

I was born a Medium.  Growing up was not all sunshine and roses because of this.  There were ALWAYS Spirits around me.  Being a small child, I did not understand what this was or what it meant.  I had no tools for dealing with these gifts and nobody around me who understood them either.  I learned to just shut out my abilities.

I had things happening to me I didn't understand.  Psychic things. They caused fear and anxiety that was paralyzing at times.  I tried to ignore them but that fear was real.  I didn't want to have other people judge me, so I didn't ask questions.  I didn't try to look for answers.  I just kept those fears and anxiety hidden inside and tried to act "normal".  I felt like I didn't fit in with the world around me.

AS AN ADULT, I STARTED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH ME

I met some people that Spirit put on my path and they opened me up to all that was happening with me, and had always been happening!  I learned that I wasn't the only one in my family that had abilities.  I started opening up to everyone and searching.

Finally I found the answers.....

I began heading down the path of opening up my psychic/witch abilities and found the inner strength to really embrace this new information.  I found a peace and freedom I had NEVER experienced before!  It was a tough journey but I keep going.  Once I started, I wanted more.

I kept soaring higher and higher and along the way was collecting certificates like:

I studied Shamanism, Mediumship, Akashic Record Reading, Soul Realignment and much more.  I even got published as a featured article in Kindred Spirit Magazine!

I started practicing in a local metaphysical shop doing readings and coaching.  That's when It happened!  I fell in LOVE with teaching and coaching.  I felt so fulfilled when I helped someone else start exploring their psychic abilites, discover the witchy magick or work through a significant fear or block in their life all with the help of the Angel Realm.  I had finally found what I was looking for.  A way to combine my gifts of communicating with the Spirit World and Teaching and Coaching others!  And doing this on MY terms!

My name is Kirsten Caywood and my background is in nursing, personal training and health coaching. My passion is helping others to feel good in their own skin. I do this using a holistic approach while teaching my clients how to practice self love, self care and self advocacy.

Many people think that optimal health is about diet and exercise. They’re not WRONG, but I would argue that the diet and exercise parts come AFTER a few other things. While it is important to care for you body through proper nutrition and moving your body, I find it even more important to overcome anything and everything standing in the way of your ability to be consistent.

Many people approach their overall health and wellness plan by restricting things (sometimes entire food groups) and overtraining the body. I do not agree with this approach. I believe health begins in the home. So, I explore things such as clutter, career, schedule, family dynamics, lifestyle, socialization, spirituality and religion and other things that make up the WHOLE person. I am here to help the person make permanent and sustainable changes while living in such a way that breathes life back into the way the client lives. I am not here to be a quick fix to someone’s life. I am here to reach a person who may be lacking self love and have lost faith in themselves. Being an empath, I’ve always had an easy “go” at building rapport with and truly understanding my clients. I am able to use my ability to just know things about a person in my training. Sometimes you must “read between the lines” with people and that is where I excel.

My journey is still evolving and I am excited to see where I am 5 years from now! But one thing that will NEVER change is my passion for helping others. I am a healer. I have overcome so much personal strife and my goal is to make sure every single person I help KNOWS there is someone out there that loves and believes in them
