Things get weird fast in Episode 2 of Crazy Hometown Stories.

This week, we’ve got a mysterious powder from Thailand known only as “Nature’s Boner,” an absolutely insane story about a guy who decides that taking acid by the spoonful is somehow a reasonable idea, and another ghost story to remind us that apparently the living aren’t the only ones making terrible decisions.

Drugs, ghosts, questionable judgment, and the kind of stories that make you stop halfway through and ask, “What the fuck were you thinking?”

Welcome to the first episode of Crazy Hometown Stories, where we tell the ridiculous, fucked-up, and occasionally unbelievable stories that somehow become part of your hometown history.

This week, we're heading back to the '90s: a dog sends a baby flying off a cliff, a propane grill nearly burns down a house, a kid with a bowl cut may or may not be haunting the woods, a headless chicken refuses to accept its fate, and a teenage bass player decides it's time to run away from home.

Some of these stories are ours. Some were sent to us. All of them probably seemed like a good idea at the time.
