An episode of real mixed emotions for me, this one. As I explain in the introduction, I was suffering with my mental health at the time of interview and had had a panic attack that I was trying to mask throughout the time of the interview and concert. However, I am also sitting on stage with a genuine hero of mine, having the opportunity to talk about his music, the music industry in general with the odd ghost story thrown in for good measure.
For all its shortcomings, I really hope you enjoy the episode.
All music featured this week is from the ‘Monks Road Social, Down The Willows’ album that was released earlier this year. All 3 tracks played feature Matt on guitar and he is also the composer of ‘Head Down To Love’ & ‘Hello Though’.
The final track featured this week is from the truly amazing Samantha Whates, whom I have featured on previous episodes. I am hoping to have a chat with Samantha in the near future about her upcoming album, ‘Waiting Rooms’.

A big thank you to everyone who was involved in the concert including Steph, James, Dud, Stu, Dik & Fi, Daisy, Simon, Alys (and Mum) and the many people I have insulted by not including them on this list.
And thank you, Matt. It was a beautiful night and as always you filled the room with some very special music.
